Pou Whakaaro decided to support Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer fundraising, by holding a Pink High Tea. We had the most beautiful sunny day in the courtyard outside the V.W. Café.
We raised our goal of $200.00 and we are pleased to be able to donate to this fantastic cause.
So many people who supported this cause have had personal experiences with Breast Cancer, losing beautiful special people, supporting loved ones or celebrating with those who have won their battle.
Breast cancer can affect both women and men, so if you find anything suspicious please contact your doctor.
Remember to go and have your mammograms done, and don't put it off, early detection can honestly save your life.
