This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone from the Bay of Plenty who wants to do Tertiary study next year (2023) and who have a physical or intellectual disability.
The BayTrust Disability Scholarship (Tū kaha, Whai Kaha – stand tall, people with disabilities) was established by BayTrust in 1990. It was originally named after the late Ray Dillon, former Chair of BayTrust who was well known for his active support of people with disabilities. The scholarship was established to support Bay of Plenty students with disabilities whose home base is within the Bay of Plenty. If asked, students must provide proof of their relationship to the Bay of Plenty going back to parents/grandparents.
Applications for the Disability scholarship will open on the 1st of November 2022 for the following year of study (2023).
