Accessible Air Travel Survey for Air NZ

Completing this survey can help Air NZ become better at providing accessibility for everyone.

Access Advisors, NZ Disability Employers’ Network, and Jones Consultancy are working with Air New Zealand to gather information about the experiences and needs of disabled people when flying.

Air New Zealand want to make their services more inclusive and accessible for everyone in the long term. As a first step to help them understand the needs of their disabled customers, we have launched a survey.

We are looking for people who have flown with Air New Zealand in the last year (12 months), and who have any access needs. We’d like to hear from people who are disabled, Deaf, neurodivergent, have mental health needs, a long-term health condition, or any other access needs.

To make this research successful, we need your help, and the help of organisations like yours, to share the survey with as many people as possible across Aotearoa New Zealand. Please share on your social media channels, newsletters, directly to friends, family and colleagues or any other comms channels you think might work.

Your efforts in supporting and representing disabled people are greatly valued, and your help in promoting the survey is much appreciated. Your efforts will maximise representation and demonstrate a united commitment to improving travel experiences for disabled people.

The key benefit of participating is that the information gathered will help Air New Zealand improve flying experiences in the future. As an extra benefit survey participants can enter a draw for one of 20 prizes of $100 in Air New Zealand Airpoints.

Here is the link to the survey which will run through until 25th of April 2025.
