Pou Whakaaro supports people who access our services to be valued and contributing members of our communities. 

How we do this?

Pou Whakaaro provides support which includes training, education opportunities and links to voluntary work and employment opportunities, for adults who have an experience of disability. We have services based in Whakatane and Kawerau.

In addition:

Pou Whakaaro has Youth Services in both Whakatane and Kawerau, and provide brief intervention to support the development of young people with stress, anxiety, drug or alcohol related health concerns
